This is a hardcover book of 182 pages with great color illustrations that presents the French lighters with 1500 pictures and 300 makers, from popular models to models of great refinement, presenting a comprehensive overview of the golden age of French lighter.
The dictionary tells us, "Lighter, masculine name, small device to produce fire repeatedly." It was not until the 20th century that this object globally widespread in the above definition. The history of the lighter started early but the 20th century will be that of its extraordinary growth.
Nowadays, few petrol lighters persist, such as the famous American Zippo some rope lighters productions here and there, of course disposable dominate the market with French manufacturers Cricket, BIC.
